One of our members the History Project has an opportunity for another small business in town, they have some issues manning the ‘Community History Hub’ 5 days a week at platform 1 on Deal Station, while they simultaneously visit schools and deliver walking tours in the town.
George Chittenden said: “We want to open the hub Monday – Friday, say 10am-3pm regardless of our own bookings elsewhere, so I thought maybe I could try something a little different. I know that lots of people who are starting up businesses and they can’t afford to take the risk of renting shop space and paying business rates etc. Perhaps The History Project can take that risk away and provide someone with an opportunity to start up with little to no risk?”
