Fundraising in aid of the Deal & Walmer town Christmas Lights
The Deal & Walmer Chamber of Trade hold various different activities to raise money in aid of the Christmas lights every year.
Christmas Lights Switch On Saturday 23rd November 2024 5.30 till 6.30pm.
Stranger in the Window competition is back! Raising money for the Deal Christmas Lights.
The 2024 competition runs from 17th July to 10th August.
All completed forms are to be handed into Deal Radio, 69a High Street, Deal, CT14 6EH by Saturday 10th August.
The Chamber of Trade’s summer favourite “Stranger in The Window” open to all. An entry form only costs £1 for a chance to win the prize money, with the added bonus of the exercise you get walking around Deals wonderful businesses to find the items on the list.
Fun for all the family.
• £70 for first prize
• £25 for second prise
• £15 for third prize.
The entry forms will be available at the start of the competition, 17th July, from newsagents JJ Woods, 11 High Street and Deal Radio HQ, 69a High Street, Deal.
To help entrants the Chamber will be publishing clues each week, to helping with the task of finding ALL the Strangers In The Window. Just visit www.dwchamber.co.uk/stranger
All businesses in the Deal area are welcome to be part of this event. For an advertising spend of only £10, a business can guarantee to have lots of people looking closely at their display window, while competitors are trying to spot the ‘different’ item.
Every year we have lots of children taking part, accompanied by their family. The competition is not limited to children, anyone of any age can join in, creating additional foot fall to your business.
