Deal is a historic coastal town on the East coast of Kent its current population is just over 30,000 residents.

The vibrant business community in Deal consists of a range of diverse businesses that serve residents and visitors alike.

With its beautiful historic seafront, stunning countryside, award winning High Street and popular Saturday market, Deal attracts both visitors and new residents and businesses relocating to Deal.

The Chamber of Trade was first established in 1905 and currently has a membership in excess of 160 businesses. The Chamber warmly welcomes businesses of all kinds to be part of the friendly and supportive business community.

The members comprise of traditionally based businesses trading from premises or shops, in addition to members who work from home, as well as the busy Saturday Market.

The Chambers original purpose was to “Promote and protect the trade, commerce, manufactures and professional interests of the Borough of Deal and surrounding districts”. This remains a valid Mission Statement for today and the Chambers activities support this statement.

The Chamber is not a division of the district or county council or directed nor governed by the British Chambers of Commerce or any other larger organisation. The Chamber remains an independent body, run by volunteers, and funded by its members, focused on the health and growth of the business landscape in the Deal area.

Membership starts at a very modest £30 which represents outstanding value and includes business support, advertising opportunities and networking events.
